Quality assurance with control charts in lisa.lims
Statistical analyses are enormously valuable in assessing the current performance of a testing system or process. Control charts serve to visualize different quality attributes over a time period. Warning and control limits are calculated dynamically using the available process data. A control chart analysis can be performed on each numerical value in lisa.lims.
Control charts play a very important role in quality assurance as they enable variations to be identified immediately. Unexpected developments – e.g., a run of five falling points or seven points below the center line – are shown directly. If defined control limits are breached, users can find the causes and take remedial action.
