lisa.lims - customizing features

Development of the lisa.lims system is focused on the user, so the software must be easy to understand and intuitive to use. This philosophy has led to a flexible customizable user-interface that maps a user-specific “view of the laboratory world.” For instance, individual users can personalize font sizes and colors. Icons make any limit violation stand out and visualize the status of the analysis. The order of columns or sorting can be defined freely. Regions, fields and columns of secondary information can be hidden or displayed as required. On top of that, information can be exported directly to Excel sheets by one click of the mouse button.

Laboratory staff, as well as customers and clients, can adjust the layout of screens and their views of lab data themselves in line with their work. The dependencies of the processes and data are retained in full on the basis of the standard layouts in the lisa.lims system. These ergonomic customizing features allow users to move frequently used and personally important information into their direct field of vision and to increase this to full screen size at any time with a single click. A side column, which is also freely configurable, provides additional space for other applications, visualizations personal favorites and links.

lisa.lims - interfaces

Interfaces to external software systems make your processes faster, more efficient and more secure.

You avoid unnecessary data entry and transcription errors, and benefit from immediate availability of data in lisa.lims or external systems. Communication takes place by using such options as   exchange of XML files, database links or web services. When interfacing in specific to SAP, we can make use of RFC, iDOC  or web services. Examples of integrated software  are ERP (e.g., SAP, Navision), MES and PPS systems.

Connecting and controlling laboratory robots and measurement devices enable highly automated solutions to be implemented. There are also interfaces to the systems of national and international government officials.

lisa.lims sends e-mails using the standard SMTP protocol and communicates with document management systems such as Documentum.

Standardized interfaces integrate lisa.lims seamlessly into the IT environment of modern corporate structures.
